Two years ago, I was on track to earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus in Artificial Intelligence. I dropped out of school to pursue music. To quote The Hitchikers’s Guide to the Galaxy:
This had made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
Still, I see it as the best decision I’d ever made.
The intentions behind this blog are to educate, inform, and entertain people as I explore the vast wilderness of music’s roots. With that, I intend to offer insights borrowed from Vipassana meditations, feeble attempts at marathon running, management, marketing, and mass-networking to provide roadmaps for other people growing their own career in something they love. In doing so, I hope to make the Artist’s path to success much easier for everyone who follows. At the very least, I hope to inspire others to pursue something meaningful in their own lives.
